How to find inactive players in Travian

Inactive players are the backbone of every serious Travian farmer. This guide shows you how to find them fast — the easy way with InactiveSearch!, and the manual signs that a player has gone inactive.

What is an inactive player?

An inactive player stops logging in for days or weeks. Their villages stop growing, their troops sit idle and their resources accumulate. After a set number of days without activity, Travian marks the player as inactive in the statistics.

Why farm inactive players?

Farming inactive villages is the safest source of resources in Travian. The owner is gone, so there is no retaliation and no defending army to lose troops against — and the villages often sit with full resource stores ready to raid.

The easy way: use InactiveSearch!

InactiveSearch! tracks population changes on every Travian server and lists inactive players and villages automatically. Pick a server from the server list, then open the inactive search to see villages that have been shrinking update after update.

Filter by distance, population and how long the player has been inactive, then send your troops straight from the results table.

Manual signs a player has gone inactive

  • Their population drops steadily — villages are being abandoned or shrinking every update.
  • Their tribe stays the same and their alliance rank slips: they are no longer participating.
  • Their villages are not growing and no new buildings appear.
  • No attacks or defence in the report feed — check their player page in Travian.
  • The village has full resource storage that is never spent.

Turn your finds into a farm list

Registered users can add inactive villages straight to their InactiveSearch farm list. Those villages are then excluded from future searches, so you keep a clean list of the targets you actually want to raid.
